<智異山プロジェクト2023>のテーマは「正義も輝いて平和も輝け」です。 このテーマを通じて、韓国近現代の歴史が作り出した二分法的な陣営対立構図を克服しようとする芸術的試みに集中してみたいと思います。 これは同時代の社会と芸術の最前線に位置する「正義」と「平和」を扱おうとするものであり、正義(法Dharma)の追求は平和の実践を意味するからです。 私たちはこのような実践の過程として智異山の生命平和思想と結合した多様な芸術形式を新たに模索しようと思い、展示期間中に「正義と平和」を主題に学術セミナーを開催し、この二つの概念に対する深層的討論を続けていきます。 智異山プロジェクト芸術監督キム·ジュンギ

<지리산프로젝트2023>의 주제는 ‘정의도 빛나고 평화도 빛나라’ 입니다. 이 주제를 통해 한국 근현대 역사가 만들어낸 이분법적인 진영 대립 구도를 극복하고자 하는 예술적 시도들에 집중해보고자 합니다. 이는 동시대 사회와 예술의 최전방에 위치한 ‘정의’와 평화’을 다루고자 함이며 정의(법Dharma)의 추구는 곧 평화의 실천을 의미하기 때문입니다. 우리는 이러한 실천의 과정으로서 지리산의 생명평화사상과 결합한 다양한 예술 형식을 새로이 모색하고자 하며, 전시 기간 중 ‘정의와 평화’를 주제로 학술 세미나를 개최하여 이 두 개념에 대한 심층적 토론을 이어나갈 것입니다. 지리산프로젝트 예술감독 김준기

The theme of “Jirisan Project 2023” is “Jeongui Shines and Peace Shines.” Through this theme, I would like to focus on artistic attempts to overcome the dichotomous confrontation between the camps created by modern and contemporary Korean history. This is because it wants to deal with “justice” and peace, which are located at the forefront of contemporary society and art, and the pursuit of justice (law Dharma) means the practice of peace. As a process of this practice, we intend to newly explore various art forms combined with the life peace idea of Jirisan Mountain, and during the exhibition, we will hold an academic seminar under the theme of Justice and Peace to continue an in-depth discussion of these two concepts.
